| Are Cannon lenses *really* good enough? | 19 Nov 2004 23:22 GMT | 7 |
In my early days of using 35mm (film) SLRs, I purchased a couple of Cannon cameras: the FTBn and the TLb (don't know if anyone remembers them now). Anyway, quite frankly, the results I got with those cameras was very disappointing. The images I got back were like in soft-focus;

| Singh-Ray Vari-ND | 19 Nov 2004 19:41 GMT | 1 |
Anyone had any experience with this product: http://www.singh-ray.com/varind.html ? It's $340; but, as far as I can tell, you can get the same effect by placing two polarizers back-to-back. The polarizers either have to both be linear; or you have to put a circular

| Panasonic DMC-FZ10 EXIF errors. | 19 Nov 2004 02:39 GMT | 3 |
I just recently acquired software that reads EXIF, and I have begun to experiment with manual settings on my Panasonic FZ10, to compare the manual results with those of the auto-exposure option. I shot several images, once with a manual setting, and another of the

| Photoshop Elements 3.0 question if I may | 18 Nov 2004 18:06 GMT | 8 |
I've posted in a couple groups and got no response so am hopeful here. Or even guidance to a better place to ask would work fine. Particularly when "stamping" I find the horizontal and vertical lines and the crosshair spot very hard to see. Is there any way to change the

| 11x17 or 11x16 frames? | 18 Nov 2004 06:52 GMT | 6 |
I have a picture printed on 11x17 paper and I have been looking for a frame for quite a while, but no luck. Just wondering if anyone in here might know where I can find an 11x17 frame for it (or even an 11x16 would do).

| Canon 70-200 EF USM L: f2.8 vs. f4 | 17 Nov 2004 01:56 GMT | 1 |
Hi, all! Seems after some time of saving I can now afford a Canon 70-200 EF USM f2.8L (Yipeeeeeeh!), but still not sure if it would be wiser to go with the f4 (approx. 600$ less) and spend the rest on maybe the 50/1.4... Decisions,
