It took me about 20 minutes of user-guide hunting to figure out how to
get the SB-800 to work off-camera (wireless remote) in iTTL mode, but

   I have a selection of standard and telescopic lenses for my eos 300d,
from 15mm to 300mm, is there any way that I can shoot close up Ie flowers
and insects utilising these lenses with some kind of bolt on modification,
or do I need to buy a new lense, and if I do can anyone ...

   Whats the best way to make B&W prints with my canon 300?  I'm just
looking for shooting tips and the best way to convert the image to B&W.

I have a number of 100-year old prints that have patches of (I believe)
metallic silver in the darkest areas of the print.  I assume this is the
result of insufficient fixing.  Would re-fixing in one of the common fixing
solutions remove these patches.  They sure screw up making ...

When positionning the lens for minimum polarization effect, does it
correspond to no filter at all?

Finally get my IR filter for my 20D and it isn't sunny.....weeks on end this
summer and fall have been snny and now that I want it that way, CLOUDS. Oh
well took a few and looks like I will be taking more and posting links here
as I upload them.

Does anyone have any experience with this camera. I had the Rebel film and
an Elan, but I heard there were issues with the digital.
