Will a 52mm to 55mm step-up ring be a sufficient enough size increase to prevent vingetting on a 24mm Wide Angle lens when used with both a polarizing filter & Wide Angle lens shade, or do I need to bump on up to 58mm to eliminate the possibility of any vignetting at all f stops?

I heard from a second source that a recent 8 MP chip that was used in Sony and Minolta cameras was flawed. Does anybody know anything about this, and if so, where I can get more details on the alleged flaw? Thanks.

I have taken quite a few pics with our Coolpix 4300 and have seen plenty of pics taken with a 300D. Why do some images taken with digital cameras seem have a 3D kind of look to them where objects stand out? Film cameras don't seem to have this effect (well not that I am aware of). ...

I have got a large exe file as a slideshow of photographs. I don't know what they were created in. 1. Can they be extracted? I have tried ResHack nothing there 2. How could I find out what created the file?
