I just purchased a Canon EOS 10D digital SLR and am looking for a nice wide-angle zoom to replace an older Vivitar 19-35mm. Has anyone had experience or have a recommendation on this lens? Where's the best price to be had online for the lens?

I have always been a color photographer but want to try to shoot black and white. Any suggestions for film stock to use? Any suggestions on exposure etc. I need to have a base to start with. Thanks all!

Quick question. With a manual focus camera, would it be better to focus with or with out one's glasses. I've got an older slr, and I've noticed that I've taken pictures where I thought I was in focus and I ended up with fuzzy pictures. aside from the glasses placing the eye ...

Is there a way to secure a vcr to a desktop in a way to be able to use it for editing so that it can't be knocked off by pets or dragged off if someone catches the foot in a chord... ?

Something has changed in my computer! I often want to open a photo in a new link by right clicking on the picture and select open in new link, I can no longer do this as it is greyed out. How or what has changed this I haven't a clue nor do I know how to adjust

Anyone own a laptop here? Well if you do and have taken it through airport security, could you share your experience? Did the security gaurds want to dismantle it on the spot? Also does the xray machine or metal detectors harm the laptop at all?
