My new boss has asked me to research digital cameras before I start my
job on the 1st Aug. We need a digital SLR camera which is ideal for
taking photographs of furniture/interior decor in a prodominantly
indoor studio enviroment (will less regularly be used to photograph

I have bought new Canon powershot A720 IS camera. It is not just a point and
shoot but it does not have a specific setting for fill-in flash. Apart from
fully automatic everything there is a specific Flash setting, which I assume
means that the camera will turn on and fire flash ...

I'm not one for praise, but I think some is due here.
I discovered the hard way last Friday morning that the sensor on my D70s
was covered in spots - muck, not just dust. I suspect that the last time
I blew the dust out my CO2 gun sputtered and it went on the sensor.

I purchased a D80 kit from Jessops in November 2006. The lens recently
started whining and failing to focus when in auto mode. Now, when I bought
it I could swear that there was a sticker on the box that said something
about an extended warranty if I registered my serial numbers ...
