A friend used to print any photos I sold as prints for me and any commercial sales I just sent a .tiff file. Now he has stopped and as stopgap i'm using photobox, who just accept jpegs. I'm sure there must be better quality out there who print from the better quality tiff or raw? ...

I have a 75 - 300mm telephoto that I bought for my Canon film camera. I have now gone digital and got a Canon 450D. If I use this lens on the 450D what would be the 35mm equivalent range? I can't remember how to work it out. Thanks

I got one of the i-gotU devices from Maplins last week. This is a little GPS unit that logs its position periodically and then these can be used to place photographs taken on a map from the time they were taken. These can be exported in standard GPS formats.

My daughter is looking at cameras and am trying to help (interfere). Whenever she spots one that seems interesting I take a look on the manufacturers' web site to check the spec and to see if it is current. I am amazed how often the model doesn't exist on the manufactures' web ...

I need to get a photo of my 6 year old grandson for a passport renewal. The last time I took some passport photos I used a projection screen for the background. I have just read the requirements on the UK Passports web site and see it now requests "Light Gray or Cream".

It intrigues me why the names of lenses end in -or or -ar. For example, Tessar, Pancolar, Soligor, Vivitar, and several more I can't remember.
