I have enjoyed my D50 now for just over a year. It's very, very good. I think that my photography is starting to improve a lot, and I would like to upgrade to 'better' equipment. I am not on a pixel hunt!

I handed my Canon EOS 400d to my wife, who promptly dropped it. It recieved a jolt, but not a bang as it was in a protective case. Everything is ok, but when looking through the viewfinder, I have a tiny black speck at the upper edge of the view which appears to be on the glass

Does any one have one of these ? How far out should the lens extend when it focuses ? I am wandering if the one I have got from ebay is faulty, since the lens only moves about 2 or 3 mm ?

I have a Canon T90 and the internal battery has given up the ghost. Does anybody know if it is still possible to get it replaced. Failing which is there a market for FD fit lenses
