good at all. An earlier set were sent thought a highstreet shop but
Small compact cameras?26 Feb 2007 20:59 GMT20
Now I have myself setup with the E500, and quite happy with that, I find
myself no using the Panasonic FZ7 much now. So, I'm considering my
options.
I find myself being in places where (as an amateur) I don't want to lug
Camera recommendations25 Feb 2007 15:06 GMT4
About three years ago, my Praktica AM-1 started falling apart, so I
thought I'd get a digital camera, and bought a Fuji S7000.
I'm sure it's a very nice camera, but we don't seem to use it much. We
certainly haven't managed to take many pictures as good as the ones we

I looked at the cokin site and tried googling sigma rear filter and
havent found any info. Can someone point me in the right direction?
Close-up lens20 Feb 2007 17:05 GMT1
I've a basic digital camera , with no close-up facility.
I've a 3 diptre close-up lens from some old conventional camera, I cannot
think of a way of crudely attaching it to the relatively small boss with the
tiny lens of this camera - any ideas,  something better than gaffer tape ...

Recomendation for Nikon service centre wanted16 Feb 2007 09:39 GMT11
Can anyone recommend an authorised service centre for a Nikon D70 and
18-70 lens?
I've been through Nikon's support website and it's up to their usual
standard - i.e. seriously irritating. Best I can get out of it is a

Neil Barker Retract Your Lie09 Feb 2007 12:06 GMT10
In <MPG.1fbf1f613ceee7c0989a5c@127.0.0.1> pathalogical liar Neil Barker
accused a new and innocent poster, Lyrics Lover, of being a "sock". As
part of his "evidence" he accused the poster of the following:
"3) You only post to d.l. and x-post to where your retard 'friends' do."

Hi chaps,
At yet another risk of brand snobbery from some, I have now configured
my killfile, so I'll see how that pans out. Just to give you some idea,
this is the first time I've actually used a killfile in 9 years of
