Zeiss Jena lenses13 Oct 2006 02:11 GMT1
I have the opportunity to obtain a Zeiss Jena 70-300 lens to fit Canon FD.
Whilst I am drooling at the name Zeiss, can anyone confirm or deny the
meaning of Jena and whether they are the real deal, Zeiss lenses of the
quality we'd expect from the name?

Recommendations for ND filters etc.06 Oct 2006 11:21 GMT14
I've never bought (or even used) an ND filter before. But an associated
post reminded me that I was planning to get both an ND and a graduated
'sky' filter the latter to reduce the contrast for my digital images
between sky and ground.
Which DSLR system to buy into?06 Oct 2006 05:10 GMT40
I'm currently in a position to consider doing photography in a semi-pro
way, and hope to maybe sell a few pics in various formats.
I already have a Panasonic DMC-FZ7, which is a great Prosumer camera.
However, I have recently been out and about and found the real
Black and White processing labs.05 Oct 2006 23:08 GMT19
does anyone have any recommendations for labs that process and print Black and
White 135 film and don't charge the earth?
I'm kind of left behind by all the labs that either have stopped processing
black and white or charge a tenner just to process it and you'll have to buy
and now for something completely different...04 Oct 2006 12:42 GMT11
A three word question, opinions sought.
Hama or Hoya?
Anyone got an opinion on the better filter brand, especially for
polarising filters?
