Processing and printing 126 film19 May 2006 18:28 GMT2
Does anybody know anywhere that will process and *print* 126 film?
I've recently bought some Ferrania 126 film and had a play around with
some of the Kodak Instamatic cameras that I've got (I've got a box full
of them). The following problem has arisen because photosupplies.co.uk
Mercury batteries19 May 2006 16:06 GMT18
Is the mercury cell PX625 still available in the UK, or is it possible to
get them mail order for delivery to the UK? I know about the Weincell, but
apparently they don't last very long. A quick Google reveals that mercury
batteries are available for use in sex aids, rather ...
Leica D-Lux 2 v Panasonic DMCLX1S19 May 2006 11:18 GMT3
Although I am a committed film person I now find that a digital camera
would be useful as I have a need for digital pictures and I can avoid
the d&p and scanning route. I just happened to go past the shop where I
bought my Contax and they showed me a Leica D-Lux 2 for about £550 but

B&W Film Free17 May 2006 08:41 GMT2
I have an Ilford Delta 400 (24 exp) plus mailer offering 25%
off processing {AP freebie from a couple of weeks ago}. Not having a
film camera now I can't use it.
Rather than throw it away if someone wants it I am quite happy
Alternatives to Picasa216 May 2006 00:55 GMT2
I have started using Picasa2 to organise my photos on my computer and
it seems pretty good but not quite perfect.  Can anyone suggest any
alternatives with similar facilities that I might look at?  They
don't have to be Windows programs, I also have a Linux system.

EOS 30D, Digilux-2 or Lumix DMC LC1B?14 May 2006 14:21 GMT3
I'm yet to take part in the Digital Revolution that has all but totally
taken over the world of photography (digital medium format?! -
maybeathere's hope for that old Horseman after all!). I've just cracked
open a piggy-bank in which I'd been saving for something special, turns
Digital lens or old lens?14 May 2006 09:38 GMT5
I asked a question here once before and got some v good advice.
I have a nikon f60 and am looking at the nikon d50 and d70s as possible
replacements.  I know that my 2 lenses will fit on the digital cameras
(and they are rather good lenses) but here is the question:
'Skylight' Filters14 May 2006 01:32 GMT18
I have just got a digital SLR and am attempting to make a move into
more serious and creative amateur photography. Towards this end, I have
recently purchased two 'Skylight' filters from different sellers on
eBay.

Olympus OM10 OM-10 gap in shutter13 May 2006 15:25 GMT4
My son decided to put a piece of cardboard in the shutter of his OM10
(why, I have no idea). The result is that when the Film Advance Lever
is used, and the shutter moves from the film can towards the take-up
spool, there is a gap of about one-eighth of an inch between the two

CF cards and EOS350D11 May 2006 21:22 GMT2
Can anyone tell me if there is any benefit in using faster
CompactFlash cards with a Canon EOS350D, i.e. 66x, 80x or 100x, or

TIA
