I have started using Picasa2 to organise my photos on my computer and it seems pretty good but not quite perfect. Can anyone suggest any alternatives with similar facilities that I might look at? They don't have to be Windows programs, I also have a Linux system.

My son decided to put a piece of cardboard in the shutter of his OM10 (why, I have no idea). The result is that when the Film Advance Lever is used, and the shutter moves from the film can towards the take-up spool, there is a gap of about one-eighth of an inch between the two

I just bought a Canon 350D. When i start the camera the LCD display doesnt start, i am having to use the viewfinder which is frustating.Unfortunately i have a german handbook and it is of no help.

Can anyone tell me if there is any benefit in using faster CompactFlash cards with a Canon EOS350D, i.e. 66x, 80x or 100x, or should I stick with a bog standard (which is usually 12-120x?) TIA
