I almost love my Fuji S602 but it has three major failings
- noise in 1600ASA mode makes it almost unusable
- low light focus is abysmal, lots of wasted shots
- very poor battery life due (I think) to having to drive the lens in

..drives me mad, if I am out taking family snapshots on a day out and

Just finished scannig some pictures from my latest trip to Scotland.
All the new pictures were taken with my Mamiya 645 and different lenses

I rescued an apparently near-mint OM10 from a charity shop, and now
I've discovered why it was there. The take-up spool doesn't rotate when
I operate the take-up lever, although if I apply gentle pressure it
rotates correctly.

Just had a new phone, Sony Ericsson Walkman phone.  It has as 2
megapixel camera
I must say the results are impressive.  Damn hard to use in daylight
though and composition is a bit of a hit and miss affair.  There is also

I do a lot of shots using a 20mm lens with my 35mm SLR and have been
looking in vain for a digital compact that can achieve something similar (I
don't want the bulk of a conventional digital SLR).
