Local camera shop tells me that Nikon D70s's aren't available ATM because of a problem with he sensor. Amazon UK show several weeks, but not Amazon US. Anyone know any more about the problem?

A relative wants a stand-alone (i.e. not PC- connected) photo printer for use with their digital camera, for Christmas Budget GBP 100-150 . Any advice/ recommendations pointers to FAQs/ comparisons, please? I'm concerned about ongoing costs of paper and ink; as well as usability.

Could anyone tell me if it's possible to unerase images on a compact flash card - providing they haven't been overwritten with new images? Basically, I've just suffered a hard drive crash (before I had time to burn images onto a DVD) and wondered if I could get ony of them back on

I recently received some spam, that has a fotosense-specific email address. Has anyone else ever noticed something similar? e.g. I used email address of the form fotosense@mydomain when dealing with them, and later got a phishing email, from another source, not fotosense
