Why do digital cameras...19 Feb 2005 21:03 GMT3
Use APS size sensors?  Or at least, sensors smaller than a 35mm frame?

frme, they could get more pixels into it, and the whole image would have a
better resolution...wouldnt it???  At the mo it seems they ...
How many pixels..?19 Feb 2005 20:17 GMT22
Just been looking at the Canon D 20. Whilst it is a very nice camera, and
certainly pretty hot at 8.2MP, irt made me think of a question.  I guess the
makers are chasing the Holy Grail of so many pixels that even the most
critical film advocate can tell the difference at large ...
Hewlett Packard photo blocker19 Feb 2005 17:08 GMT4
Hewlett Packard has filed an obscurely-worded patent with the US patent
office for a widget which will block digital cameras from taking
pictures of people -- only of course if said camera is equipped with a
corresponding HP "no take my mug shot please" thing-a-ma-bob:

My daughter dropped her brand new Canon A400 Powershot camera,

London. I chatted to them and was reassured that they knew what they

My beloved little G5 was fried at a rock concert last night:-(
My son's band was playing at a local venue and I was taking some photos. I

Everything was going well. I then had to change the CF card and when I
