I can't get my head round what I need to do here, please can somebody confirm I have this the right way round. Say I'm taking a photo of somebody in a dark room with flash (external). My Olympus OM-2 (full frame average metering, OTF flash metering) will fire too

Use APS size sensors? Or at least, sensors smaller than a 35mm frame? It seems to my dull brain that if they used bigger ones, say a full 35mm frme, they could get more pixels into it, and the whole image would have a better resolution...wouldnt it??? At the mo it seems they ...

Just been looking at the Canon D 20. Whilst it is a very nice camera, and certainly pretty hot at 8.2MP, irt made me think of a question. I guess the makers are chasing the Holy Grail of so many pixels that even the most critical film advocate can tell the difference at large ...
