Anyone know a source of tripod thread adapters? I'm after the little gadget that converts and old 3/8 inch continental tripod socket thread to the modern 1/4 inch size. I may end up finding a 3/8 inch bolt, a drill and tap and making some.

I'm upgrading my kit and have almost convinced myself its time to go the digi SLR route (most likely Canon 300D - anyone got one of these?) as opposed to trading up to an EOS 3 or similar (I've an old faithful A1 at the moment).
