New to this group and am planning to replace my Sony DCSP1 with a Minolta
Dimage A2 as I want some manula control (would like a DSLR but with new baby
can't afford it)
My question is.... What is with this guy constantly banging on about the

can anyone give any tips or recommed a website/book with advice on scanning
black and white negs. I'm using a minolta scan dual III on a range of fp4,
hp5 etc but am invariably getting poor results (eg poor tonal range, image
looks like a photocopy) on negs that I can get a ...

Going cheap
Probably the best general coverage receiver on the market. Fitted with an
extra Collins 300hz filter for CW fans and those interested in LF 136khz.

in my 2 F5's, my D2X, my 2 FM2's, my D70 and my 10,000 quids worth of Nikon
Glass for 4 Sigma SD10 Bodys and some of those high build quality lenses
that Sigma has to offer. Where is a good place in the UK?

I'm looking for a small number (<10) of blank photo keyrings which
hold 450mmx350mm passport sized photos.
I've looked under www.photobox.co.uk and they charge £2 per
"non-blank" unit. I can go bulk but I don't want or need 200 @ £40. Is
