Can anybody please help, does anybody know of some decent free software,
which can burn jpegs to CD, to play on DVD player, I have tried some of the
free ones but have been limited to how many jpegs I can burn onto the CD, or
they don't work correctly.

Colour developing only18 Jun 2004 18:54 GMT3
Might not be worth the effort but is there anywhere that does developing
35mm without printing, ideally on CD or even just negatives ? All I can
see for CD are places that do it in addition to prints.
I do have a digital camera but I've recently inherited a full SLR setup

Photo Frames18 Jun 2004 12:31 GMT9
Does anyone know of (mail-order/internet) company that sells off-the-shelf
frames that are actually the right size for full frame enlargements (e.g.
12" x 18" with a 2" border).
My local frame shop closest is 12" x 16" or 16" x 20", both really not

USB Slide viewer anyone know if this exists??16 Jun 2004 14:10 GMT5
I would love to get hold of a USB 35mm slide viewer. (combination of a
slide viewer and a webcam?) Does anyone know if these exist? I am
looking to view on screen and take a quick low res snap of 4,500
slides so that I can decide which to feed through my slide scanner.

The "Fuji line" - weird.14 Jun 2004 00:20 GMT5
In my photo club, every so often (surprisingly often) a
slide goes up with a thin dark line across the horizontal,
about 2/3rds up the slide. Everyone groans - "oh, a Fuji
line."

Pentax *ist - anyone using one?11 Jun 2004 13:23 GMT8
I've just noticed (via pircerunner) that the current price of the Pentax
*ist is about 250 pounds, which seems pretty amazing value, even
allowing for the stupid name.
A quick search turns up the facts that it has no depth of field preview
