I am currently considering getting myself an external flash for my sony F828.
I'm not sure what to look for though really.
Seems there are two principle sony options: the HVL-F1000 and the HVL-F32X.

I'm looking to do some close-up/macro work. I don't need 1:1 especially but
getting close would be good. I'm using a Canon EOS film camera and
currently have only a 28-105mm f3.5.
I guess the best way is a proper macro lens but how do the alternatives
