Any advice on an inexpensive portable/small studio setup kit for taking
product shots e.g. jewellery, electronic/computer products etc with a

Buying Used Items from Amazon UK31 Mar 2004 08:33 GMT7
I was very interested in seeing the thread about 2nd hand sources, as
I'm currently thinking about buying a nearly new camera from  Amazon UK
(their Market Place service). Has anyone any experience of buying this

Software to crop 4:3 to 3:2 easily30 Mar 2004 21:50 GMT18
Does anyone know of any dedicated software that can very easily crop

Turning "professional"30 Mar 2004 11:20 GMT18

Where to get 6x17 prints?29 Mar 2004 23:14 GMT3
I'm looking to get 30x10" prints (and larger) from either 6x17 slides, or
digital files scanned from the slides.
Does anyone have a preferred print lab for this sort of work? With it not
being especially mainstream I'm not having much luck.
sources for 2nd hand in UK?29 Mar 2004 19:53 GMT14

my decision easier!

Infra-red viewing on a digital camera26 Mar 2004 11:00 GMT1
I was playing with my TV remote control and looking at it through my
digital camera.  When I pressed buttons, I could see the infrared
sender blinking.
However, the blinkiing was a sort of blue colour rather than red.  Any
