Help needed on Solar Chargers21 Feb 2004 21:56 GMT5
I am going trekking in Nepal in November.  It will be very cold (short
battery life) and a long way from a power supply.  I have a Fuji Finepix 601
with two batteries (NP60 type). This will not last 3 weeks.
Does anyone know of a solar charging system that will be compatible and

I've been hunting for a Sony VAD-PEA lens adaptor for my DSCP72 for some

Boxing Day and its still apparently a good 4 weeks away (they said this a

Lens quality with Canon EOS18 Feb 2004 22:43 GMT2
I'm thinking of getting a new camera, the EOS 30 is the current favorite.
But I'm unsure about the lenses.

good. It certainly doesn't score well here:

Interesting E-Bay auction!!18 Feb 2004 13:38 GMT5
I have just seen a battery grip  BG - ED3 for a Canon EOS 10D on sale
for £132 + £6 postage on E-Bay. The interesting thing is that the same
battery grip is advertised in Mathers of Bolton for £129-00 + postage
which I think is £1-50. Beware of E-Bay!!

What film for a wedding16 Feb 2004 17:38 GMT22
I have been asked if I'll take some pictures at a friend's wedding. I am
*not* the official wedding photographer - there's no way I'd want that
kind of pressure and they have wisely employed a professional.
I usually use C41 B&Ws for convinience, either Ilford XP2 or Kodak 400CN
