| How many pixels is enough? | 27 Feb 2004 11:25 GMT | 53 |
I've got an ink-jet printer that is claimed to be able to lay ink down at 2880 dpi. (I'm not sure if that's both horizontal and vertical, but let's assume it is). If I want to make an A3 print - say 10 in. by 16 in, at the printer's rated performance, and I don't want either the ...

| Which printer? | 25 Feb 2004 21:53 GMT | 2 |
I'm looking for advice on photo-quality printers. Since I use film and scan, I don't need a printer which accepts a camera directly or which handles various memory devices (although I appreciate that most printers do this nowadays). I've got a HP Deskjet for text printing which ...

I've got a second-hand EOS1D on it's way to me but without any memory. I'm looking at buying a GB of memory, possibly as two 500MB CF cards. What recommendations do readers have in this respect? Manufactures, 4x, 8x 16x 32x speed etc, UK suppliers? That sort of thing.
