I need to get several copies of either 5.0 or 5.5 (cut-down LE version)
of Photoshop. Normally I would use eBay but I need to get them in the
next few days. Anyone have any recommendations as to where I might be
able to get them?

Following a previous posting I looked a using rechargeable batteries in my
camera and was told that the new NiMH batteries have to have their capacity
match the capacity of the charger.
i.e. if I use 2100mAH batteries the charger must be rated as 2100mAH as

Process + CD transfer with no prints?08 Jan 2004 17:46 GMT3
Having got fed up of crap prints when the CD transfer shows the pics are
ok, I'm wondering if there are any labs which do 35mm process only + the
standard 2 quid CD transfer so as to save the cost of the useless
prints?

Press Pass etc07 Jan 2004 17:08 GMT3
I've recently went full time photog. I've submitted a few freelance
photos to local and regional newspapers with varying degrees of success.
Some of the events I've attended have been happy enough to give me press
access with just an email or telephone call explaining my ...

Canon L vs Sigma EX ?07 Jan 2004 08:20 GMT4
I am seriously thinking of retiring my Pentax MX system and starting again
with autofocus.  I need a system which is tough enough and good enough to
last a very long time, without spending more to upgrade in the future.  I am
leaning towards a Canon EOS 3 system (Pentax MZs looks ...
Focus assist on EOS3/ 550EX06 Jan 2004 21:27 GMT1
Can anyone explain what I need to do to make the focus-assist light work
with the EOS3/ 550EX combination. I'm sure I've seen it work in the past,
and suspect some combination of custom functions and focus point selection
is disabling it. This has caused me some problems in dingy ...
Canon EOS 3006 Jan 2004 12:55 GMT4
Thanks very much for the helpful replies. I'm well impressed by everyone's
technical expertise! I do want the best quality option but will have to go down
the second-hand route and take my time about it.
Just an afterthought - how come Canon can get away with providing such a poor
NTSC - PAL06 Jan 2004 10:10 GMT4
I have just found this group so apologies if the group is tired of this
question - or it should have gone to a different group (please advise).
A friend has a Sony TRV19 Mini DV Camcorder which was bought in the US. It
is clearly a NTSC version and he now realises his error. Is ...
