| Angle of view on Digital SLR | 23 Jan 2004 22:29 GMT | 21 |
I would like to replace my current SLR & 85mm with a digital setup and I have been informed that a 50mm lens gives a similar effect to an 85mm on a non-digital SLR. Is this true?

I want an external flash unit for the G5 but don't want to pay top dollar for the Canon Speedlite 220EX: I only use flash occasionally and do not need the fully automatic option. I have a Vivitar 283 for my Nikon film camera. I daren't use it on the

I currently looking at selling my Nikon F100 and buying a Digital camera. I use to think a lot of Nikon but I never thought the F100 was a great Camera. It seemed inaccurate.(sensors & stuff). Bit I did have eyes on the Nikon D100, but there seems a lot of mixed

I've got a Minolta Dimage Z1 with a very odd size lens. I want to get an adaptor to make it 52mm to fit the accessories for my boyfriends SLR but I have no idea what the lens size is. I think it's a 40.5mm but I'm not quite sure where I should be measuring too and from. Is this ...

I've got an EOS-30 which I use primarily for landscape and photographing our cats. I'm also keen on astronomy and so I'm looking to get a telescope (- ideally a lightish weight one so I can move it up to the Brecon Beacons as Caerphilly is a tad bright for anything much) and

Have toying with the idea of making a large format digital camera out of a scanner. I focused the light coming though the window on to the surface of the scanner (CanoScan LiDE 20) using a 24mm Nikon AF lens. The resulting image demonstrated good contrast but focus was a problem due ...

| Buying cameras and lenses in the US | 20 Jan 2004 18:17 GMT | 38 |
I am finally going to buy a new digital SLR. I've made do with an Olympus 1400L and my film cameras. Since my Canon cameras are getting on a bit [F1Ns] and all my lenses are FD [mainly fixed from 17mm-400mm], I'll be having to buy new lenses too.

Can anyone recommend a place to get prints made from digital images, either in a shop or over the internet. I have seen a few places and the prices seem quite expensive, ranging from 15-45p+ per print (as I haven't had any prints made in the two years I have had the camera I have ...

Looking for a film processing service that will (without causing embaressment) print our naturist photographs from 35mm negatives. The pictures are adult nudes (not porn), but even so, we do not want to have our nude bodies paraded around the local Boots or Supa snaps. We would ...

| Help! - on-line event photo preview required | 19 Jan 2004 17:30 GMT | 11 |
Can anyone recommend an on-line photo preview service which would allow people to preview 200-400 shots of an event I'm shooting next weekend? Ideally I'd like to limit the photo size so they're too small to be printed at a useful size but large enough to whet the appetite!!
