Looking at buying the above, anyone using one?

I am struggling to open RAW image files with the Dimage 7i. Apparantly there
is a conversion option with the Dimage Utility program. Can anyone help ?

I am am very new (today !) to digital photography. The camera I was seduced
into buying this morning (Minolta Dimage 7i) came with a 16mb card, which I
have now found to be useless. I am now considering a Lexar 512mb card. Here
is the question. Like film, does the make of the card ...

Is anyone using the Pentax *ist D?
If so, what do you think about it?
Especially, what's the shutter lag?

Like a lot of others, I'm looking to get a digital camera. I've had an
Olympus AF compact since they came out in198?... It is rugged enough
to put in a jacket pocket without worrying about, weatherproof enough
to be out in all weathers and down the occasional cave.

Over the last few weeks I have been using my Nikon Coolpix 5000 camera for
some photos that are set in halls, outside buildings and such like - most of
these are low light settings. My problem is that nearly every photo I take
ends up being too dark. I have an example at the site ...

Just bought an A60 (amazing value from Amazon, and a frightening number of
features for a greybeard who started doing wet photography more than 40 years
ago). I have a reasonably new Dell running XP and the kids Fuji digital was
plug and go, but the Canon software (and Explorer) ...

Is there a list somewhere to enable me to identify the manufacturer and type
number of the negatives I have?
I want to scan the negs and my software enables me to select the
manufacturer and the type of film but some negs don't have this information.

Hello everybody, I'm actually new in photography and I just bought a Nikon
F80. I want to buy the nikkor 24-120mm f3,5/5,6 AF-D and I just discovered
there's a new version of it, the 24-120mm AF-S.
Could anyone tell me if this lens (24-120mm AF-S) work well with my camera
