| Trade Ins (or is it Tredes In?) | 10 Nov 2003 21:01 GMT | 3 |
As you'll see from another post, I'm looking to change my Fuji 602 for either a Fuji S7000, or, more likely given the feedback, a Canon EOS 300D. A mate got Jessops to price match down to ?780 for the 300d lens kit - I'll likely try Jesssops too, as I can hopefully trade in my 602, ...

| Flash rental ? | 10 Nov 2003 10:47 GMT | 3 |
I will be inheriting some camera equipment in a few months including a good quality Nikon flash gun . . . Before this happens though I need a flash gun to go with my Fuji S2 Pro in 2 weeks for the Wales Rally GB and rather than buying one I was looking to rent one.

| Manual focusing on F80 | 10 Nov 2003 10:29 GMT | 7 |
I am thinking of re-taking up photography after a few years break (quite a few). I used to use an F3 and an FM (not too sure, memory starts to go around 30) but am thinking about trying out a more modern camera, like the F80. When I ask about manual focus I get somewhat confused ...

| Advice on Starting Out | 10 Nov 2003 09:41 GMT | 7 |
I wonder whether experienced hobbyists out there can help me. I have had a digital camera for a year or so (a Minolta Dimage 304) and I have enjoyed using it. However, I have not been entirely happy with the quality of the pictures that I get compared to the SLR I used

| Warning: Basic film question! | 10 Nov 2003 09:06 GMT | 11 |
For the fist time I am perusing film choices and am seeing 120 roll variants. (I assume this is just the same film but with 120 frames instead of 36.) It is soooooooo much cheaper... where's the catch? Are they physically bigger rolls? Will my F80 handle them? If not, can I

| Poor indoor photos without flash | 09 Nov 2003 17:09 GMT | 3 |
I am using a Fuji A303 which I am very pleased with apart from one aspect. I sometimes have to take photos at squash events which means I am unable to use the flash setting. I have found that nearly all of the photos taken are of no use. Very blurred. Is there any way around this. ...

| PK Mount lense on a Pentax MZ-30 | 08 Nov 2003 18:22 GMT | 2 |
I've spied a 24mm PK mount lens in a near by shop that I would "quite" like, can anyone advise me whether the lens would be compatible with my Pentax MZ-30? I'm quite happy (and comfortable) using the camera in full manual mode with any A/F features off.

| Canon 100-400 L IS question | 08 Nov 2003 16:36 GMT | 3 |
I have a Canon 100-400 L IS lens. It doesn't have a rubber seal to fit against the camera mount. However, my other 3 'L' series lenses all have rubber seals. Is this normal on the 100-400 or should it have a seal? Thanks,

| Insurance and Repairs | 08 Nov 2003 13:47 GMT | 5 |
I'm thinking of buying a digital camera. I've noticed that retailers such as the Dixons group and Jessops offer add-on insurance packages to cover repair or replacement if anything goes wrong. These seem OK but I'm not sure. Does anyone know of a better ( or cheaper ) option
