| Canon EOS 300D Flash and batteries | 20 Nov 2003 09:48 GMT | 3 |
Getting one of these - but not sure what the crack is with flashguns. I know it's E-TTL but will any E-TTL flash work or does it have (as the bloke in my local shop told me) to be a Canon 220, 420 or 550 EX (with the 'X' being the important bit)?

Mint condition Mamiya Six 6x6 rangefinder with standard and wideangle lens. The best. And the Mamiya Seven 6x7 rangefinder with wideangle lens for sale. Both almost unused. I'm a collector rather than a user. Email for price and images.

I am in the process of planning a panel of photos, and need to take a photograph of either steel being manufactured, or Iron ore being mined. I live in the UK (Peterborough) and my local area is OK for sand, gravel and clay extraction, plus brickworks.

Can anyone tell me how to remove the cellophane sleeve from a colour negative inside without damaging the film? I was just going to scan the 4 shot strip but found the sleeve had somehow amalgamated with the emulsion in various places.

Wondering about upgrading my Fuji S602 to something with more resolution - Canon 330D at c?800 inc lens, or Fuji S7000 without the interchangeable lens flexibility or true SLR, but with the benefit of already having a tele converter for my 602 at about ?530? Is it worth the extra ...

| ideas for talk | 11 Nov 2003 10:28 GMT | 2 |
Me and my big mouth - I seem to have lumbered myself with having to give a talk to a scale boat modelling club about photographing models. The club members generally will own compact 35mm or in a few cases digital cameras and are all pretty much full auto point and shoot
