Nikon enlarger lens25 Oct 2003 18:21 GMT1
I recently bought a Nikon 80 mm f/5.6 N for my enlarger and I realised that
the thread was smaller than the standard enlarger lens thread (39 mm
diameter ?). Is there any adapter I can find to adapt it ? Where can I get
this ?
Calibrating a Mirascan - Acer 640BT25 Oct 2003 15:33 GMT6
I've got hold of an old Acer (Benq) 640BT scanner with the transparency and
Negative scanning facility.
But no templates for the negatives and slides.
It seems there is something in the templates that is used for calibration.

Shooting block24 Oct 2003 19:14 GMT6
I experience something at the moment what I can only describe as shooting
block. I go out with the camera but can't bring myself to take any
pictures. The "reasons" are many... too self-conscious (people staring),
light not right, missed the "moment", etc.
Nice things to say about Mifsuds24 Oct 2003 13:33 GMT6
Bought a Hasselblad 500CM from Mifsuds Photographic today... and despite
having bought from them before, I was nicely surprised at the service. The
girl on the phone actually rang me back to inform me the black finish kit
i'd asked for was available but in poorer condition than the ...
Canon T90 vs A1?24 Oct 2003 12:26 GMT17
I've currently got an A-1, and am generally happy with it, - I know the
knobs/dials inside out, and can use it in total dark, but one thing that
has been holding me back a little recently is the slow flash sync speed
of 1/60.I like to take pics of moving cyclists, and a fill-in ...

It's October/November in the dear old UK. You've got a car packed with
camera gear and a yearn to get out there and just take pictures. But where
would you go?
I'm looking for suggestions of great - or out of the way - places to spend a
Good Camera Dealers in Sheffield Area23 Oct 2003 07:01 GMT8
I'm moving to Sheffield next week and i wondered if anyone can recomend me a
good camera store in the Sheffield area. Not Jessops, of which there is no
doubt several, but a good, small local type place with knowledgeable staff
that don't treat you like a half wit.
220 film suppliers....22 Oct 2003 23:09 GMT1
Any one know of a good retailer for 220 film, Velvia, FP4 etc?  I dont mind
10 packs if it makes it cheaper.
7DayShop.com just dont stock it at all...  Jessops seems to think its made
of gold, not gelatine....
