Epson 2200 Cartridges : compatible with an Epson 2100?01 Nov 2003 00:25 GMT1
Does anyone know if Epson 2200 Cartridges can be used with an Epson 2100 ?
(The 2200 is the American Version of the 2100), and cartridges over there
cost about half of the European price. Even with tax and customs, the
difference would still be 30%! But I'd like to know if someone ...
High-Key portraits - advice needed please.31 Oct 2003 22:36 GMT4
A friend has seen some lovely B&W high-key portraits and has asked me to
photograph her two young kids in this style.
There's no major pressure - she knows I'm an amateur but isn't too
bothered - if my shots aren't good enough she'll go to the pro's. :o)

Binoculars advice - 8 x 4029 Oct 2003 20:55 GMT6
Dixons are advertising some Miranda 8 x 40 Binoculars for £19.89 when
presenting a £20 newspaper voucher.
No model number is quoted.
Are these likely to be any good? Has anybody bought any.
Praktica BX20 opinions please29 Oct 2003 11:02 GMT5
I'm trying to decide on a replacement kit as I'm selling my Canon gear.
Finances dictate that I can't spend much more than ?100 for a camera body
and a couple of lenses plus flashgun.    Dredging thro eBay and looking up
the kit on the Web the Praktica BX20 looks like a winner for ...

Help - Pushing and pulling film??28 Oct 2003 13:48 GMT2
I find myself occasionally in situations where it'd be useful to pull or
push film when taking photos, but I've never been sure quite how to!
I've heard about pushing or pulling, ie. deliberately under- or
over-exposing film, then compensating for this when the film gets developed.
Opinions - Minolta A series lenses27 Oct 2003 18:00 GMT2
I've got the chance to return to 35mm after a 20 year hiatus, however the
budget is very tight ( wife & kids happy with point & shoot ). I used to own
a Yashica FR1 and a boatload of fixed focal length lenses but sold the lot
if the very early 80's to help finance a house purchase ! ...
