i have some too old stereo photographs on glass plates
do somebody has any experience scanning such archaics in flatbed scanner?
now i have none to experiment with so i need this info to visit some friend
for a quick job

I recently made some modifications to a pinhole camera that has worked
well for two years.
My first set of prints from the updated camera came back from the lab
yesterday, and the top 1/3 of every photo is overexposed. The

      I'm confused about quality deterioration when repeatedly opening and
"saving" JPEG images.  I've read that every time a JPEG image is "saved," some
quality is lost due to the lossy compression format.

I've come to the point where I feel I need to study others or
professional's photos to determine what I like about them.  I would
like to try to learn something about general composition, lighting,
framing, etc.  I've got the basics down on what diffent lenses do,

I'm taking a portrait shot with 2  lowel omni halogen lamps, with 35 mm
slide film. My question is... what film is best advised for this kind of
light, or if I were to use daylight film, which I already have, what filter
