I picked up one of these new Nikon P & S cameras about three weeks ago.
Purchased online for $239.00/US.  Although I've only snapped about 300 shots
so far, I have a good opinion of it, but have many more photos to shoot in
testing all of it's features.  This is the 7.1 MegaPixel ...

Hi, I am sure this is probably a serious problem that would cost a lot to
fix but hear goes any way.
The camera was working fine a week ago. I powered it up yesterday and the
images through the lens are stretched vertically and  image is very pink.

1) Lens that goes at least as wide as 28mm equivalent (for 35mm).
2) Optical viewfinder.
3) Images sharp out to the corners.

My new Ixus 60 has very noisy unpleasant focusing much louder than the zoom.
Anyone else got this .I'm new th these cameras . my a620 is quiet
