Ordered this camera and looking for 2 lenses, I am a beginner. I nee info on a macro lens and a good regular lens with zoom. EF 75/200 o EF 75/300 with image stabelizer. I need to take pictures of dogs working, scenery and closeups.

Hi. I'd like to throw away my 1-year old nikon coolpix 2100 for its awful speed, on startup an worse than that, for the autofocus... this is really slow. I'm not sure what kind of camera to buy. Can you suggest me one? I've

1. Using SD-cards. 2. High quality fixed focal length lens, i.e. no zoom, equivalent to (circa) 35-mm on 24*36. 3. Max aperture 1:2.0 or brighter.

Does anyone know if it's possible to alter the filename the camera thinks was the last one taken? I found there's a way to reset the counter, but I want to be able to set it to a specific number and start counting from there.

Excuse this basic question which im sure has been asked before, but i can't seem to find an answer anywhere else. If my camera is set to a certain resolution, why are the resulting pictures not all the same file size?

Can anyone give me some good advice on what are some of the faster p& cameras out there today? By fast I'm referring to shutter lag etc. I' looking for something for Street photography that is fast, has reasonably wide lens and possibly a fold-out LCD.

I got a Sony DSC T7 for my birthday. Very pleased with it but had some trouble at first as I screwed things up changing too many settings. Could not get a clear view on the screen in Still Picture Mode but could see it fine in Movie Mode, so shot a few pictures in that mode.
