Nightsky Shooting30 Nov 2004 02:21 GMT8
It's Leonid time. I'll be up on the mountains and out of the Bay Area,
thanks to a week off, and the weather will be very clear here in
Cali'. Anyone have any experience taking night sky photos with digital

Looks like a nice camera with optical image stabilizer and a Leica lense.

Small, Fast Response Point and Shoot29 Nov 2004 14:11 GMT1
I'm looking for a few fast response P&S digital cameras 4-6MP.  I need

I started out with two sets of AA NiMH batteries and added a third.

Ixus i - grainy shots in poorly lit conditions22 Nov 2004 19:49 GMT1
I bought one of these recently and have been trying it out all over
the place - I've noticed however that in indoor dark and open rooms
(museum galleries for instance), the resulting pics in 'auto' mode
become very grainy in the darker areas of the pictures - even at the
Pentax Optio (released in Sept. 2004)20 Nov 2004 12:03 GMT1
I have been looking at the Pentax Optio that was released in
September, 2004.
It has 4 MP and 10X optical zoom.  BUT NO IMAGE STABILIZATION.
