I want to buy a 3-4 MP basic digital with the following specs: ability to upload one picture at a time to my pc if need be via usb simple/win os compatible software (I owned a Sony vid cam that had horrible software!)

I'm looking for a few fast response P&S digital cameras 4-6MP. I need to take some action shots of my pets, but would like the portability. I realize that I would be better served with an SLR, but I really need it to be small.

I cross posted this to the 4 digital groups as it pertains to all. It's been about 2 1/2 years since I went digital, first with the Oly E20-N and now the Nikon D-70. I started out with two sets of AA NiMH batteries and added a third.
