I've got to pose some people on an outside group shot. Now because of sun
and other factors I will bring them in the shade out of the sun. I will
however use fill flash. I have a Nikon d70 with a sb600 flash. Now if I'm
set for 1/125@f11 for example what would be a pleasing ...

I have a Manual 35 mm pentax camera sla.
My flash is automatic with manual option image cz-55.
I don't understand the fill in flash system.
The camera flash sync. setting  is 1/50th second which would be an

my camera has a flash syncronization of 1/50th secound. even with a 100
speed film the light meter calls for f4 with 1/250th secound.
How can the camera be set for fill-in flash with a manual flash.
any help would be appreciated.

I have a pentax sla camera  a imageca-55 auto flash.
I don't understand how to set of if it is possible to set fill in
flash.  the camera has to be set at 1/50th of a secound for the flash
to syncronize but at that speed the picture would be overexposed.
