I will be travelling to southern Oregon in 2 weeks with a couple of free
days to make the drive back to Portland, and am curious what the
photographic opportunities might be.  I've visited the area in summer and
taken the usual spots on the seacoast, but never fall.

WE are planning a trip to the Colorado for changing of colors of the Aspens.
First we are going to the balloon festival in Alb. NM on Oct. 4 for a couple
of days.
Where is the best viewing (and photo ops) in Colorado after that.

As a Colorado resident who has visited the Maroon Bells numerous

We're going to be in (southern) coastal Maine --- hotel in Boothbay
Harbor -- for 3 days to do photo research on harbor geography and commercial
installations, but I'm pretty sure that it won't take all of the time for
what I need to shoot.
