I'm considering a trip to Australia in the March-April
time frame next year.  I've been to Australia once
but would like to see more.  I'll probably go for a
couple of weeks, and fly into and/or out of Sydney.

Any recommendations for a 5-7 day trip? Not just for photo opps, but
scenic, native american, travel in general?
I'm thinking of renting an SUV for this trip with my mom (age 69 with
some knee pain) and covering Santa Fe, Carlsbad, Taos, Rte 66, etc. I
