Here's a chance for serious Adams collectors to own a fine example of a classic
landscape from his Portfolio VII: "Sunrise, Mt. Tom, Sierra Nevada."

Bat photos from a decent digiatl camera?17 Dec 2003 11:33 GMT2
Is it possible to get in flight photos of bats with a fairly decent
digital camera? I have a Sony DSC-F717 and wondered if it were possible,
we are lucky enough to have a lot of bats around our place here. Thanks.

Hi!  My name is Keith.  I've been into photography for about twenty
years.  Some years ago I shot a lot of slides in Chihuahua Mexico and the
anthropological museum in Mexico City.  I have a lot of great shots of
indian artifacts as well as images taken in Chihuahua at the ...

looked on the net and found the usual:

E6 processing in Ft. Lauderdale Area12 Dec 2003 12:58 GMT1
I'll be in the Ft. Lauderdale FL area for a couple of weeks at the end

Gitzo 1348 or 1548 for long lens?11 Dec 2003 11:55 GMT9
I use a Nikon 500mm. F4 with either a 1.4 or 2x converter and either a D1H or
F100.
Would the smaller/lighter G1348 carbon fibre tripod be sufficiently atrong for
the above combination, rather than the G1548.
suggestion for Tornoto nature photography in January09 Dec 2003 02:10 GMT5
I am visiting mu in-laws :( in Januaray in Toronto.  Due to holiday
airline traffic and lack of available seats I'm forced to stay there a
couple of extra days more than I would like to, so I figured why not
make a photo trip out of it.

Anybody using the Epson 1280?04 Dec 2003 13:04 GMT6
I was wondering if anybody could shed some light on problems I am having
with this printer.
1) I find that I have to way oversaturate the colour on my monitor in order
to get it to print well(to the point it almost looks absurd on the monitor).
Metering light04 Dec 2003 06:01 GMT9
I would like to know how to meter correctly the light of a scene? I
don't have a grey card and I have read that you can read the light of
the back of a caucasian hand and increase +1 the exposure. Is this
true? Do you know some link where I can read all this theories? What
Nikon N65 taking a pic of the moon03 Dec 2003 23:37 GMT2
Ok,  I am not skilled in any way in photography...  I just upgraded from a
decent point & shoot Nikon Zoom Touch 600 to a Nikon N65 (28-80 lens)...
I want to take a picture of the moon, but even when I change the setting
from auto to nighttime, when I push the shutter button it will ...
