can't find a clear answer to my problem from them!
We are going to Kruger in September and will be travelling in the open land

UK: Velvia 100F29 Jul 2003 04:08 GMT1
I was in the biggest photo dealer in Scotland yesterday, asking if Velvia
100F was 'in yet'.
Not only isn't it in yet "should be in the next week or two, surely", but
according to him, we're (in the UK) not getting the 'F' version.

Comparison: Velvia 50  "Classic" vs. Velvia 100F18 Jul 2003 04:17 GMT10

against theirs? It's the same with all my lenses which are a variety of long
and short Nikkors. And it seems to be something to do with ...

Off to the US in a week's time for a week north of Boston and southern
New Hampshire generally.
Any recommendations for good birding/wildlife photography spots?
Any sites for beavers would be great (don't have them in Ireland!)

Tripod Engineering08 Jul 2003 19:10 GMT1
What makes a good, expensive, sturdy tripod different from a cheap, flimsy
tripod?  Is it nothing more than the amount of metal in it?

I'm luccky enough to be going to Uganda on a truck safari for two weeks this
summer. Part of this trip will be tracking mountain Gorillas in the forest

Does anyone have any tips for these situations specifically or for the trip
