i have a Vivtar Electronic Flash model 253 for my olympus om-1,anyway when
i turn the flash on i hear the buzzing noise and the light turns on and
everything but when i go take a picture the flash won't go off.i dont think
it's the battery since the light turns on. i was thinking it ...

new replacement hotshoe, but I'm not sure how it needs to be wired up

I'm a novice at this, have done the searches but have not yet found an

I've just aquired a pentax v spotmeter and have been going back and
forth between that and a gossen luna pro SBC.

I'm looking for a remote flash trigger that would work correctly when other
photographers are flashing in the same room. That means either a radio slave
or maybe infrared slave (wein?) though I'm not sure the later kind is immune
from interferences.
