Hello photographers,
I made a newbie mistake and stored my Canon EF-S 18-55mm kit lens
without the cap on it.  Now, when I mount it on my camera, the
viewfinder has a look to it that I can only describe as grainy.

Every time I try to scan slides at 1200dpi I got massage " scan failed ".
With 600dpi everything is fine.
Any idea what is wrong.

I have the Metz 60 CT-1. In some online info it says that in auto mode
it will deliver 160 flashes at full power at 99 feet, or something like
that. Does that mean that if I use it in auto mode and shoot between 20
to 50 feet I'll get more flashes out of it? It also looks like if ...

I have the above listed Norman P800D power pack and a pair of LH2000
lampheads. I recently picked these up and am not familiar with them.
When I push the test button, I can see (and hear) electricity arcing
