I'm coming in NYC only one day on the 24th (saturday) to buy at B&H a D1X,
unfortunately this store is closed on saturday.
Do you know any store open that day which could have a like new D1X for sale

My 60CT4 is in need of replacement batteries: I currently have a 6V
dry-fit pack which is having a hard time keeping up with the work (I
can only shoot 40-50 shots before it runs out of juice and requires
over 30sec to recycle) and I have to swap cells (pretty "embarrasing"

Zinc air I've in mind. A Sekonic meter and my OM1n call for 1.35.
The local Radio Shack has 1.40. Will I go wrong with the

Anyone know how hard it would be to open up an OM-1 and unlink the
shutter from the mechanism that closes the auto aperture on the lens?
I just want the shutter to fire, nothing else. Do I risk really
messing up the camera, or would it be pretty straight forward?
