Old Nikkor lens31 Oct 2003 05:03 GMT9
I have an old (12 years) "AF Nikkor 35-70mm" lens that came with my Nikon
F801s. I guess it's the standard lens they fitted on that camera when they
were sold.
Now it is almost impossible to turn the zoom ring on the lens. It's all

Any advantages of conventional over digital?23 Oct 2003 03:15 GMT16

relfector type ?19 Oct 2003 17:54 GMT4
I'm learning portrait photography. I do a lot of black and white work but I
also do a lot of beach/bikini color photo shots (seems thats all everybody
wants here in Hawaii). I'm about to purchase a reflector to hopefully
improve the look of my photos. I'm getting a Lastolite ...

I am looking at replacing my old digital camera. The ones I am
considering are Fuji Finepix S602, Finepix S5000 and the Minolta Dimage 7i.

Low-level light meter suggestion?11 Oct 2003 03:57 GMT1
I am looking for a meter capable of measuring ambient light levels in
the -4 to -3 range.  Does anyone have a suggestion?  This is too low
for most of the common meters - a +3 EV meter's needle doesn't even
flicker.
Equipment insurance06 Oct 2003 20:44 GMT1
I live in New Zealand and want to insure my camera equipment against loss,
damage or theft both here and in other parts of the world.   The company I
have the house contents with will only offer cover in NZ.   I would be
grateful if someone can suggest any company or companies that ...
