Hi - Do I have to buy either a Nikon or Canon flash to get the ability to
dial in the amount of fill-flash I want?   Or are there 3rd party
manufacturers who make such units?

Next week I'm going to  Tunisia and bringing my SLR with me.
Can anyone give me advice which is the best way to protect my camera from
sand or at least to minimize the danger.

I have bought a used Gossen Variosix F light meter. It comes with two
measuring cones (normal and +5), but the meterings are similar in normal
light conditions. When do I need the +5 cone?

I know there is a gadget that can do this but I can't seem to find it. Some
time ago I saw a TV program showing a photographer takes pictures, develop
the 35mm film and then slide the negs into a gadget that made the pics
appear as positives on a laptop monitor, with no printing or ...
