I am looking for a medium format film camera and lens to shoot wide
open at f2.8 at a standard length. (trying to max shallow depth of
field) I have loosely boiled it down to these two combos:
A Bronica with its 80mm 2.8
Suitable tripod for Pentax 6x723 Apr 2007 18:14 GMT10
I'm thinking of moving into medium format photography when money
allows. Currently I shoot 35 mm with a Nikkormat FT3, which I love,
but there are times when I would like better resolution for my best
pictures.

my flashgun ( Metz CT-45 ) doesn't have adjustable output in manual
mode. but it has 5 stop control in auto-mode.  my qeuestion is, can
the auto-mode adjustability can replace the manual-mode
adjustablility? is there any tips there? thanks.

Recently I developed some EFKE KB25 (35mm) film using Tetenal hardener
in my fixer. The film, after it had dried and was kept under a pile of
books for a day, was surprisingly flat and rigid considering how
people always say this film has a strong tendency to curl. I attribute
"soft left edge" but not "soft right edge"10 Apr 2007 16:00 GMT7
This has been puzzling me a while now. I guess it applies to MF as
well as digital where I have seen it and somebody here will have an
educated opinion on it (not so for the digital or 35mm groups). That
is, why do lenses often show a soft left edge but not a soft right

I really enjoy working with medium format film, both in my Zero 2000 pinhole
camera, and also in my Yashicamat124 TLR.  My question is, could I gain

i am about to put my Metz CL-1 flashlight away from my Rolleiflex 3.5
camera, just in the halfway to the subject. so the PC cord are too
short to use.  i think i can buy a slave and have it connected to the
Metz CL-1, but what i need to trigger the slave? i don't want to buy
