affordable quick release system for Mamiya RZ67?31 Dec 2006 17:52 GMT2
The websites don't list intended useage, so it's total guess work as to
the weight ratings of these things.  I have three tripods and I'd like
to add QR to all of them.  The heaviest camera I'll be using will be
the RZ67, with nothing longer than a 250mm lens.
How to rotate Mamiya 50mm shift?29 Dec 2006 16:38 GMT2
I recently purchased a used 50mm Mamiya shift lens for my 645, but I cannot
figure out how to rotate the lens?  Can anyone help?

Speed Graphic26 Dec 2006 00:39 GMT2
I'm thinking a selling my 2x3 Pacemaker Speed Graphic.
I've already gotten one expression of interest, but I
have no idea what these things are worth these days.
I've got the camera with a 101mm Optar lens as well as
Mamiya RZ and flash23 Dec 2006 04:33 GMT11
I'm going to shoot some macro medium format underwater using my RZ.
This may read a little odd.
In fact the subjects will be in an aquarium.  Lighting will be studio
flash.  Reading about the RZ and flash I'm slightly surprised there

Hasselblad lens hood - size question - bay 50 or 60?20 Dec 2006 14:35 GMT6
My lens is: 80mm, SN Nr565xxxx, with a correctly fitting filter with
"Hasselblad/50" written on its rim.
Is the lens hood that will fit this is a "Bay 50" ?
I only ask because recently I was sent a "60/80 Hasselblad" after requesting
OK, now how do I get them to the printing stage???19 Dec 2006 04:06 GMT35
I posted a while back, everyone here was very helpful so I wanted to
get a little more input.
I've been using my new/old Koni-Omega Rapid/90mm with decent results,
I'm going to a local pro lab to get the film developed and printed -
Tripod for MF18 Dec 2006 06:35 GMT41
I know this is a "how long is a piece of string question", as tripods
come in an infinite variety of size/weight/cost variations with all
the tradeoffs involved. But I thought I'd get some ideas on this.  All
I have at the moment is a Benbo Trecker used for 35mm work.  And it's

ABANDONED CAR12 Dec 2006 11:48 GMT13
Hello guys.  I have been playing around with a friends Pentax 6X7
camera.  It is a beautiful medium format camera that sounds like some
one is loading a shoot gun when it goes off.  CanI please get some
feedback on the pictures?
Mamiya Press RF adjustment10 Dec 2006 23:47 GMT1

(Rafe - why I bow out on Color challenges)
Over the past few years I've had several occasions where my color perception
was questioned, usually by people at least half my age (and most stridently
by our Asian artists.)
Film choice08 Dec 2006 04:12 GMT23
My photos mostly fall into the landscape or architecture category (the
crumbling ruin end).  I don't do a great deal of MF photography.  I'm
coming to the conclusion that something like Portra 160NC is my best bet
for a colour film.  Given that it is, I beleive, a portrait film this ...
Mystery Photo05 Dec 2006 15:05 GMT24
There's a new page up at http://chasfs.com/fireman.py which contains a
photo that I took the other day.  I've saved it with an old version of
Photoshop so it should be a bit of a challenge to tell how it was made.
The original sized image is available as a link from that page, but
