Although the initial opening jpeg does not convey the brilliance of
color the scanner is able to capture I have some crops you may or may

RB67 question29 Nov 2006 13:46 GMT8
A while back I was looking at buying a Mamiya TLR, and got some good
comments here.  I also found an FAQ site that went into great detail on the
model differences, lens differences, accessory descriptions, etc.
Now I am looking at RB67s.  Does anybody know of an FAQ for the ...

Getting back into medium format27 Nov 2006 22:29 GMT94
Hi everyone.  I'm an amateur who has not done a lot of photography in
the past few years, but recently got a digital Nikon on impulse and
played again, and ...was frustrated by cheapish digital SLR quality,
then looked over some of my old F4/Bronica MF stuff and sighed a bit.
Mamiya C327 Nov 2006 21:10 GMT4
I've been in doing photography for two and half years which, OK, is not
very long but I am pretty keen on doing this and feel that it's more than
hobby (which defintely holds true considering the amount of money I use to
spend on it ;-).
Canon launches world's smallest camcorder25 Nov 2006 10:50 GMT1
Its called the Canon HV10 HD, it has the ability to record onto a DV
tape and moreover you can record at 1920x1080 resolution. Its

model is just 2.7 inches, but with features like a 10x optical (which
Resolution versus Tonal scale.25 Nov 2006 03:45 GMT30
This question relates to choosing between two scanners.
One has better optical resolution, the other is able to capture more
detail between shadows and highlights.
4,000 dpi versus 6400.
WTB: Rollei PQ and PQS lenses23 Nov 2006 21:59 GMT1
I am interested in a couple of the Rollei 6000 series lenses (PQ/S).
Most interesting is the 40mm, 60mm and 110mm but I am open to all focal
lengths. Must be optically and mechanically perfect but barrel
scratches are ok in moderation. Please email me directly at:
Dealing with limited dof in landscapes23 Nov 2006 11:51 GMT24
I've been using MF for landscapes for about 2 years now and I'm getting
increasingly frustrated with the limited dof with 6x7 and limitations
in imposes. How do you guys cope with it?
Here are some examples where dof is an issue:
Mamiya RZ67 Pro II - that hand grip23 Nov 2006 07:48 GMT3
Well I took delivery of a nice RZ67 Pro II today, purchased with some
encouragements from these parts :-).  Looks fine, and as big to handle
as I expected it would be...   This example came with a left hand grip
as part of the deal.   Does anybody *really* use the thing free  with

IR folder (sale)19 Nov 2006 14:27 GMT3
Sorry guys - I'm going to punt this on eBay but I thought I'd mention it
here first. You at least might know what I'm talking about.
I have an Ensign Ranger II 6x9 folder adapted to use infra-red film.
It has a piece of Lee Filters no 87 IR filter fitted behind the lens.
