Still using medium format29 Aug 2006 06:59 GMT48
I just came back from a trip to Alaska. I decided not to bring my 35mm
camera and to use my Hasselblad 553ELX. It was heavier than heavy, but
I figured I wanted to use what I have and get the quality I want. My
traveling companion used a tiny Canon P/S digital camera with a
Pentax 645NII, any owners here?21 Aug 2006 12:47 GMT2
About three years ago, just before retiring, I purchased a new Pentax 67II
SLR and I had big plans for it!  Well I used it once to photograph my
daughter's wedding and it has sat in the case ever since.  I guess it's
because it's just too much camera for me, I have a Nikon F4 that I ...
Medium format slides and the Epson V75021 Aug 2006 00:56 GMT32
I just got an Epson V750 and it's a great thing to finally be able to

I'd like to get hold of a (relatively) modern medium format
rangefinder camera - something similar, if it exists, to the Mamiya
"7" series cameras, but taking 6x9 negatives.
Would a Fuji G690 off eBay be about the closest I could get to fitting
night photograph with a RB6708 Aug 2006 08:18 GMT12
I want to take advantage of the upcoming planet Mars closeness to Earth. Do
you have any suggestions of time and or stop settings? Mars is to be as big
as a full moon. growing larger each night through the end of August. I've
not tried long exposures with the RB before.
645E and RZ body for sale02 Aug 2006 22:56 GMT1
I'm forced to part with my lovely 645E and my spare RZ 67 body due to
some short term budget difficulties.  I love the 645 and the images it
has given me have been simply superb.  The body is in very good
condition, showing very little wear and functionally flawless, and
