| Q: Replacing a Bronica S2 body -- another S2/S2A or an EC/EC-TL? | 25 Jan 2006 15:37 GMT | 4 |
The shutter/mirror on my venerable Bronica S2 just died and I'm faced with a replace or repair decision. Since I own 6 lenses for it (40/50/75/100/150/200) as well as a bellows unit, a set of extension tubes and a Polaroid back, I feel that it would be pretty foolish to move to

| What's a good 35mm film scanner for panoramic shots? | 25 Jan 2006 13:31 GMT | 13 |
Not off-topic as panoramic shots with my Horizon 202 are much wider than the standard 35mm frame - what's a good 35mm film scanner for panoramic transparency shots? I don't want a flatbed scanner to do this as I don't think its light is bright enough to punch though

| Glass Plates | 23 Jan 2006 01:06 GMT | 35 |
This might be in the wrong forum, but I'm hoping I can get some advice. I just inherited my grandfather's 4x5 glass plates he made in the late 1800s to early 1900s and I do not know how to clean them. They are not that bad, and was wondering whether digital ice works, if some ...

| Advice for a cheap MF system, Bronica or Kiev | 21 Jan 2006 00:34 GMT | 36 |
I want to get a MF camera for basic lighting work and "point and shoot" fun. Nothing expensive. I am leaning more to 6x6 since 6x4.5 is too close to 35mm. Is that a correct assessment? I have never owned a MF camera so I was wondering the reliability and

| Modern MF Rangefinders? | 20 Jan 2006 21:03 GMT | 6 |
Is there a still-manufactured MF rangefinder? I want 6x9, 6x7 will do. Must accept interchangeable lenses or have a fixed wide lens (50mm or shorter). Oh, I don't want the Linhof solution; already have one. Too big. I know I am ignorant of these cameras.

| Digital back for RB67? | 19 Jan 2006 01:44 GMT | 10 |
Does anyone know of an available digital back for a Mamiya RB67? I love this old workhorse, and will continue shooting B&W as long as possible. Some recent concerns about the availability of black and white film, however, has me wondering about a shift to digital using the RB67 ...
