MF is dead. You can't compete with 340MP digicams. http://www.scienceblog.com/cms/supernovae_study_offers_tantalyzing_clues_about_d ark_energy_9354 Price and availability will be announced later. Comes with an astronomic telescope and a house to put it in.

Here is an excellent comparison of scanners, which I did not know existed food for thought. http://largeformatphotography.info/scan-comparison/#

| Who are the best suppliers of web space for photographers? | 16 Dec 2005 04:12 GMT | 3 |
Who do people here use if they need a lot of web space for large photo files, assuming they don't want to see any of those pop-up windows and want people to have reasonably fast access/download?

| Kodak in China | 15 Dec 2005 19:54 GMT | 16 |
Needed some 35mm film the other day. Picked up a 5 pack of Kodak 200 at a local supermarket. The package was labeled "Made FOR Eastman Kodak in China" Has this happened across the board with my Kodak 120 films too? Is Kodak making the stuff in China or is someone else making Kodak ...

| MF perspective control | 15 Dec 2005 00:29 GMT | 21 |
I want a 6x9 handheld/rangefinder that can be used for minor perspective control occassionally. I've narrowed it down to Linhof Technica 6x9 or Mamiya Press. Leaning towards Mamiya because of price. Lens quality seems about equal. Any comments?

| Bronica lens quality | 13 Dec 2005 16:12 GMT | 17 |
Back in the 80's I worked for a company that had Bronica cameras (SQA and ETRS). At the time I found the quality of the lenses to be unspectacular. Certainly compared to the 35mm gear I was using at the time the quality on

| Thornton Pickard | 09 Dec 2005 09:01 GMT | 1 |
Please forgive me if this posting is not appropriate. I have just fallen in love and purchased with a Thornton Pickard camera "Triple Victo" with a "Bausch's Rapid Symmetrical" lens. It is a bit tatty and needs a good scrub up.

| What does optical resolution 3600 x 1800 dpi mean? | 06 Dec 2005 12:00 GMT | 21 |
Does it mean it scans at 1800 dpi or 3600 dpi or something else? Why does it quote two figures and not just one? I am looking at this page: http://www.adorama.com/IMTAS1800F.html How does this scanner compare to others currently on the market? There

| Kodak and Fuji - the only E6 makers left? | 03 Dec 2005 16:12 GMT | 1 |
It appears that Agfa's finished and Ferrania apparently has dropped out of making their Solaris Chrome. So I assume that the only E6 producers in the world are Kodak and Fuji. Does Konica make E6 film?

| Mamiya C330 strap needed | 03 Dec 2005 00:38 GMT | 3 |
Does anyone know where I can find a neck strap for the C330s camera. It doesn't have to be a Mamiya original just something that attaches to the cameras clips securely. Jimbo

| ANSCO Viking 120 Folding Camera | 02 Dec 2005 14:12 GMT | 5 |
I just bought an ANSCO Viking Camera (one of the newer ones) and my guestion is: Was this camera an Agfa product? I ask because I've seen older Agfa Ansco cameras. JimG
