| 645 vs 6 or 8 MP DSLR @ 8x10" ? At 12x16" ? | 31 Dec 2005 11:15 GMT | 51 |
Do you suppose you'd be able to tell which is which, from a well-executed Epson, HP, Canon or LightJet print? Let's assume the image has nice tonality and plenty of detail. Sharp, well-exposed, yadda yadda.

| Have Rollei, need advice | 30 Dec 2005 21:15 GMT | 15 |
I am a lousy photographer who has never taken anything but snapshots with point and shoot cameras. My father died when I was 12. Unlike me, he appreciated cameras and had an eye for equipment, and left behind a Rolleiflex 2.8 F model K7F (according to the Rolleiclub website) dating ...

| Santa was good to me this year...and you? | 29 Dec 2005 17:53 GMT | 14 |
I picked up an Epson 4990, and it was actually my wife and not Santa who was responsible. Better yet, I didn't even tell her I wanted one, though I did. She did some research and decided this was best for me. Do I know how to pick'em, or what? :-)

| Has Hasselblad Discontinued the 500 Series Cameras? | 23 Dec 2005 18:49 GMT | 1 |
I heard this just today--probably unsubstantiated, but perhaps someone here can set me straight. Surely THE classic MF system hasn't been withdrawn from production, right?

I have purchased a Mamiya 67 II with 80 mm lens--I need user manual. I expect this delivered today or within a couple of days and though I can surely figure most of the operation out a users manual would be nice (I'm handy but c'mon folks)--any online resources that I can ...

| used equipment - ebay or sell to b&h? | 21 Dec 2005 18:11 GMT | 13 |
I want to sell a mamiya 645 super film back. The average price fetched from ebay in completed auction is $100. At B&H, similar condition used item sell for $279. If I sell mine to b&h, would they give me half (i.e. $139.50)?

Last night, the lights have been switched on for good at Agfa's film coating plant in Leverkusen, Germany. In five weeks from now, Agfa will be no more. Only the photo chemicals division has found a new owner for as long as it will last, but it is
