| P67 or not | 16 Nov 2005 10:34 GMT | 2 |
In a a follow up to my previous post about using a P67 with a monopod I am interested in hearing your thoughts on the image quality in comparison with 35mm. (I have no other experience with medium format.) I know that the quality is much better particularly when enlarging to ...

| pentax 67II and tripods | 14 Nov 2005 18:14 GMT | 9 |
I am thinking of buying a pentax 67II with the prism finder and probably the 55-100 lens. All the reviews I read and most of the user reviews seem to stress that becasue of the huge mirror and the slap created by it, it is essential to use a big solid tripod especially when ...

| Availability of film and processing in Italy | 11 Nov 2005 21:36 GMT | 5 |
We're traveling to Italy (Rome-Bologna-Venice-Florence) in a few days and I'm (almost definitely) bringing my Bronica in addition to my film and digital Nikons. I'll have a few rolls of 120 when I leave, but since the suite of lenses I have for the 35mm covers a substantially ...

| scanner adapter for medium-format film | 10 Nov 2005 15:04 GMT | 12 |
I have recently been thinking to get a general-purpose (, flatbed) scanner, at around $300. Does anybody know which brands provide medium-format (particularly interested in 6x6, or 120) film adapter for scanners at this price? Any recommendations?

| it's back to respooling for superslide shooters | 09 Nov 2005 22:06 GMT | 5 |
According to J&C (and confirmed by Maco) the 127 sized Macochrome branded E6 film has been discontinued. There are some remaining stocks out there. I see the frugal photographer still has it listed on his website. According to Maco, they cannot source a "master" roll of 46mm E6 ...

| New medium format user? | 07 Nov 2005 20:41 GMT | 34 |
I am a film and digital 35mm camera owner/user and am thinking of trying out medium format as a replacement for my 35mm film camera. Clearly the photo quality is far superior than anything you can get on digital at the moment (apart from medium format digital camera's). I ...

| Hasselblad Clarification | 07 Nov 2005 14:51 GMT | 5 |
I'm building a new V Series Hasselblad kit, but I can't find the differences in some of the lines. Particularly, I'm considering either the 500CM, 501C, or 501CM body, and either the 80mmCB, 80mmCF, or 80mmCFE lens.

| Loosely wound film in Baldix 12-on | 04 Nov 2005 09:46 GMT | 2 |
I started photography around 1952 with 120 roll-film, and had no problem then with the tightness of the exposed film on the take-up spool. (Still got the negatives to prove it!) [Ensign Pocket 20 6x9, Dacora 12-on with f5.6 Subita, & Zeiss Ikonta f4.5 Novar 16-on]

| Pentax 67II vs. 645 | 02 Nov 2005 23:48 GMT | 37 |
I purchased a new 67II a couple of years ago and I haven't used it much, partly I think is because of the format! Film this size is kind of hard to scan because it's difficult to make it lay flat in my film holder (Nikon 8000 scanner), I know I could get a glass film holder and ...
