Super Ikonta29 Nov 2005 18:54 GMT18
Hi, I've found a Super Ikonta 530/16 6x6 in excellent conditions (so
said the seller) for 230 euros. What do you think about this camera and
its price?
Thank all
A Bessa II fitted with a Tessar?28 Nov 2005 13:26 GMT1
I didn't know they sold Bessa II models with a Tessar. Do you think
this is just a Frankenstein mix with somebody screwing a Tessar front
element onto a Bessa II?

That MF feeling26 Nov 2005 13:12 GMT243
I'm sure we've all felt it - that sudden silence when the people with a
camera built into their mobile phone catch sight of something big,
mechanical and serious, with a lens that weighs more than a small child.
So where does the biggest shock come from?
Yet another scanner thread25 Nov 2005 07:32 GMT3
I'm using a flatbed scanner, but it's pretty near useless.
I'm going to ask Santa for a Minolta Dimage Multi Pro.
Good, or is there something better at the price?
I need to scan 35mm slides and negs, and various MF negs up to 6x6. I'd
Hassie digital24 Nov 2005 23:10 GMT11
The H2D.
The H2D uses an advanced 22Mpix sensor that is more than twice the size
of 35mm sensors. It provides higher resolution, less noise, seamless
integration, and uses the same high performance HC lenses as the rest
noblex or modified MF for panoramic22 Nov 2005 21:55 GMT11
Hey folks -
I've been staring dreamily at the Hasselblad XPan for several years,
but the money just hasn't materialized. I would still like to do
panoramic shots, and here are the thoughts I'm mulling over:
Does wind shake tripods much?22 Nov 2005 16:29 GMT18
I suppose I'll find out the hard way but does wind shake a tripod much
duting long exposures? I will be using a light camera on a Manfrotto
055 BD for photgraphing the Christmas market in Munich in the failing
evening light using slow film.
Fuji 645 Zi rangefinder exposure counter20 Nov 2005 12:55 GMT1
Does anyone know how to interpret the total number of exposures taken by
this camera by looking at the film counter? I think it's at the bottom of
the camera. For example, if the counter reads 1500, how many single
exposures is that? And what would be considered a high number of ...
Subject matter18 Nov 2005 19:30 GMT12
I have been leant a couple of medium-format cameras from a friend of a
friend and am struggling to find a suitable subject.
Whenever I take the Mamiya RB 67 out to a stately home or National
Trust property, the clouds come over. As you can imagine - it is far
Thinnest 120 sized E6 film?18 Nov 2005 16:03 GMT3
As was mentioned on a previous thread I'm looking for the thinnest E6 film
for slitting and re-spooling onto 127 spools.  This is so that I can
hopefully get an entire 120 length onto a 127 spool.
Need advice for "pull" processing18 Nov 2005 12:17 GMT26
I've got a processing problem I'm going to be facing soon when I
return from vacation.  I've only ever push processed a couple times in
all my years of shooting, and I've never pulled anything.  With the
advent of digital, I've gotten even worse at remembering how to do it.
Problems with extension tube16 Nov 2005 22:20 GMT2
Hi all, I've bought a set of Hasselblad extension tubes (21, 32 and 55
mm).  The "surprise" is that the 55 mm one does not mount on 500 C/M
body. I can mount it on 21 mm or 32 mm but NOT on camera body. To tell
the truth ot is a bit difficult to mount it on other extension tubes, I
